The Lid-Locker was designed as a remedy to the relentless task of securing a hat while traveling as well as in your home or horse trailer. It is a spring loaded hat rack made of steel components and is powder coated in a beautiful copper finish. Its function is to secure a hat in a suspended position in which nothing touches the crown or brim of the hat. This is accomplished with two crescent shaped bands at opposite ends of a spring loaded mechanism that hold the hat from the inside out, at the sweatband. The mechanism is attached by a steel rod to one of three different brackets: Seat Bracket- for use in vehicles and Single or Triple Wall Mounts- for use in homes, offices and horse trailers. The Lid-Locker holds the hat suspended in place much as it is secured when you are wearing it, which minimizes damage to the hat.
Finally, a place to hang your hat where it won’t get sat on, knocked on the floor or mis-shaped. We know how it is. We take pride in our hats too!
